To preserve the history of the development of ceramic art and crafts produced by members of the Hamilton and Region Potters' Guild.
To represent he aesthetic and technical excellence of the guild, but also to record, through their works of clay, the history of involvement of its` members.
To create a collection that inspires members to strive to hold a place of honour within.
