September Meeting

Monday, September 8, 7:30 pm at Carnegie Gallery. The speaker is Rhonda Uppington

Primarily a hand-builder specializing in tiles, Rhonda will be joining us on September 8th to discuss and demo some of the surface decoration techniques that she uses. While her focus will be on making and using coloured slips, including her use of real leaves, she will also speak about incorporating printmaking techniques (linocut blocks and collagraph plates) as well as plaster stamps in her work. Rhonda Uppington works out of her basement studio in Newmarket and is also a studio member of the Pine Tree Potters' Guild in Aurora.
